My Story

I’m a creator. I’ve always been passionate about exploring new ways to create and passing on these techniques and ideas to those around me. My daily sketchbook art practice in mixed-media has helped me explore and grow my love of colours, patterns, and pushes me to work without expectations and fear.

Beyond art, I love sitting around a campfire with friends and family, my kids’ sense of humour, my morning coffee with my husband, meandering through a forest, composing music with loops, flowers, meals served in a bowl, handmade pottery, being on gentle waters, my husband on vacation, and all the everyday, ordinary moments in our daily lives.

Working as a freelance graphic designer has given me opportunities to work on such a wide variety of projects, it’s hard to list them all. My professional art & design experience has included wedding invitation and stationery design, website building, book layout, children’s book illustrations, custom illustrations, motion graphics, painting, printing and book making, magazine illustration, iconography, photography, videography, writing, content creation, branding, rebranding, Annex Suspended mobile designer and builder, blogger, technical textbook diagram illustrations, social media content creator, kids’ art program instructor, mixed-media art night instructor, art gallery sales and marketing manager, and I will continue to say “yes” to new projects that come my way. I still have so much to learn and do.

In 2008 I moved from Vancouver to Fernie, BC, Canada, where I now share my daily life with my two amazing kids and husband of 14 years. Just by being around them and growing up with them, I have this obsession to show my family what I am capable of.

If you have a fun, creative project or business idea, don’t be shy, I am open to almost anything.
